Sources and methodology
NewsNetWide organises published financial news by country and topic, displays short excerpts or summaries, and links to the original publisher. Use it to discover information; check the linked report or primary release before relying on a specific claim.
News sources and attribution
Headlines and excerpts come from public publisher feeds. Each country-page story identifies its source and links to the original article. Full articles remain on their publishers’ websites and may require a subscription. Availability of a feed does not mean every story from that publisher is included.
Country and topic selection
Automated processing groups stories by country and topic, including markets, the economy, central banks, policy and companies. Classification can be imperfect: a story may affect several countries, and an important event may be missing. Coverage varies by country and by the availability of sources; this is not a complete record of world news.
Refresh schedules and timestamps
News feeds are scheduled to refresh every 15 minutes. This describes the collection schedule, not a guarantee of a new story or a maximum delay. Publisher delays, unavailable feeds and technical interruptions can affect freshness. Country pages show recent stories, generally from the past 30 days. Check each story’s date and the publisher’s timestamp. A page’s “last updated” label alone does not show that every story or data point is new.
Economic statistics
Country investor snapshots use World Bank Open Data. The year beside a figure is the observation year; annual data is not a live economic reading. Different indicators can refer to different years and can be revised. Check the original series and definitions before comparing countries. World Bank data attribution and licence details are available from the World Bank terms of use.
Research papers and the calendar
The research library links to papers and their source institutions. A paper is research, not a verified trading result or a recommendation. The economic calendar helps readers find scheduled events. Confirm an event’s time, time zone and any changes with the issuing institution before depending on it.
Automation and AI
Collection, grouping and some summaries or analyses use automation. Some analyses may use AI. Automated text can miss context or contain mistakes and should not replace the original source. NewsNetWide does not claim that a human journalist independently verifies every aggregated item. Financial tools and simulations describe scenarios based on inputs and assumptions; they are not forecasts.
Report an error or attribution problem
Email [email protected] with the NewsNetWide page URL, the story title, the original source URL and a short explanation of the problem. Publishers can use the same address for attribution or removal requests. This contact route does not imply that every incoming report has already been reviewed or resolved.
