Privacy Policy

NewsNetWide is a product of Mellizos Services. This policy explains what data we collect when you browse the site, use the globe, or send us an enquiry — and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Enquiry submissions. When you use the contact form we store your name, email, role, and any country of interest so we can respond. We also keep a short-lived IP-derived rate-limit marker to stop abuse; it is not used to profile you.
• Usage analytics. We use privacy-first, cookieless analytics (Plausible, if enabled). No personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no cookies by default.
• Server logs. Standard connection logs (IP address, user-agent, request paths) are retained briefly for security and troubleshooting, and are not sold or shared.

What we do not collect

• No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, no advertising profiles.
• No account system currently collects a password — when accounts and daily briefs arrive (free tier), the password is stored only as a salted hash, never in plain text.
• We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone. Period.

News content

NewsNetWide shows links out to third-party publishers and embeds their summaries under fair-use principles. We do not republish full article text. Removal requests for indexed content should be sent to info@mellizosservices.com.

Your rights (GDPR + CCPA)

If you are in the EU/UK you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. If you are in California you may request we disclose the categories of personal data we hold about you and delete it. Contact us at info@mellizosservices.com and we will act within 30 days.

Changes

We will update this policy when the product grows (accounts, briefs, paid plans). Material changes will be announced on the site and this page updated with a new date above.
